DR. TAHER UL JHANGVI'S MISADVENTURE IN PAKISTAN
Dr. Qadri is expected to arrive in Pakistan after 5 long years' stay in Canada, where he has taken citizenship and Canadian Passport. This means, he has disconnected his roots from Pakistan. However, he wants to change the Administrative structure of Pakistan. His slogans are (1) "Nizam Badlo", and (2) Siasat Nahin, Riyasat Bachao" (Meaning, Destroy the political structure of Pakistan, and save Pakistan). We do not understand, how come a person who opted Canadian nationality can play politics in Pakistan and talk of overthrowing the Government there. This is, against the constitution of Pakistan; meaning a foreign national cannot hold any office in Pakistan.
The Pakistani Supreme Court in September, 2012, passed a historic verdict in the dual nationality case, declaring all parliamentarians and provincial assembly members holding dual nationalities “ineligible to hold any public office” and rendering them disqualified as lawmakers of the country’s lawmaking bodies.
There are other serious issues related with the hype created by Dr. Qadri. He says that the political system should be changed so that corruption could be eliminated. He claims he is honest and wants to bring honest people to rule the country. Every politician in the world talks in the same language. How can we believe Dr. Qadri is not lieing? The irony is that, Dr. Qadri is a declared liar, by Pakistani High Court.
Lahore High Court declared Taher Ul Qadri as "a liar", "dishonest", "hungry and greedy", and "a person responsible for making dramas". The High Court verdict still stands against him for which he has not filed any plea in any Court.
There are other, very serious issues with Dr. Qadri. He has led his followers away from Islam, into a new religion called Ammanism, in which everyone is treated as "Believer", irrespective of his faith.
Dr. Qadri talks of changing the system, meaning enacting laws to rid Pakistan from corruption. But we fail to understand, what is wrong with Pakistani constitution. There are laws made for every possible crime, including political crimes. Simply making them more complicated will not solve the problem. The entire society in Pakistan, as is the case with most of other countries, is corrupt. We do not find people who have the will and courage, and who cannot be lured with money and power, to implement rules stipulated in the Constitution.
Indeed, there is a room for change in Pakistan, as is the case with many other countries in the world. But politicians use this issue to exploit the masses further. What Dr. Qadri is doing is the same old story repeated in many countries. Before grabbing power, the politicians show green postures to the people, and once they come into power, they forget everything, all their promises.
What is required is a real change in human attitude. We need to change peoples' hearts. We need to spread awareness among masses towards Sahih Iman and develop good morals in them. This process is a little longer, but this is the only solution to the present evils in human society.
WE ARE WORKING TOWARDS THIS GOAL. AND WE HAVE BEEN VERY SUCCESSFUL IN THIS REGARD. BROTHERS AND SISTERS, LET US CHANGE THE WORLD BY CHANGING THEIR HEARTS TOWARDS GOOD.
